About Dr. Vishal Rastogi

Dr. Vishal Rastogi is a reputed Interventional Cardiologist with over 20 years of experience.
He specialises in treating complex coronary conditions, including rotablation, carotid intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, and percutaneous aortic valve implantation.
He received his MBBS from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (IMS-BHU) in 1997 and an MD in General Medicine from the same institution in 1999.
He later completed his DM in Cardiology from the University of Delhi in 2004.
Dr. Rastogi is the only doctor in India to have implanted the Impella Left Ventricular Assist Device in more critically ill patients.
He is also a national proctor for rotablation, coronary imaging techniques such as IVUS and OCT, and dedicated bifurcation stents.
He has specialised training from the Texas Heart Institute, USA, in Advanced Heart Failure Treatment Management, including the use of Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) and cardiac transplantation.
Dr. Rastogi has performed numerous coronary and peripheral angiographies and diagnostic cardiac catheterisations in both adults and children, including those with complex cyanotic congenital heart diseases.
