In 1998, he established the first gamma knife centre in a dedicated neurocience centre in SAARC region. He was designated the Head of Gamma Knife Surgery at Vimhans, New Delhi.
He has an experience of more than 2000 Gamma Knife Treatments collectively.
He is the founder of Asian Radiosurgery Conference and conducted the first Asian Gamma Knife Program at Siatama, Japan
Dr. Gour has done his graduation and post graduation from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal India.
