He also completed fellowships at Indian College of Physicians (FICP) in 1998, American College of Gastroenterology (FACG) in 1998, and WHO Fellowship (Health Promotion) in 2004 from the University of Sydney, Australia.
Afterwards, Dr. Choudhary pursued fellowships at the Academy of Medical Sciences of India (FAMS) in 2005 and the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI) in 2010.
As a top gastrointestinal surgeon in India holding several specialisations, he received the Prof. SA Nani Vadekar Oration Award in 2014, a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005 by ENDOCON, UP Ratan in 2002 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and many other accolades.
Dr. Choudhary is also acclaimed among the best surgeons for gastrointestinal disorders in Gurgaon and has 200+ publications in renowned journals.
He has been the President of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and holds memberships of the World Gastroenterology Organization, Coalition for Eradication of Viral Hepatitis from Asia Pacific, and the Asia Pacific Association of Gastroenterology.
